OPERATIONS AGENT

DESCRIPCION

To efficiently coordinate and manage international export operations, ensuring timely and compliant shipment execution, accurate documentation, and effective communication with clients and stakeholders.


REQUISITOS

• Carreer the university studies in International Trade or Logistics.
• Fluency in English (advanced level).
• Knowledge of Incoterms.
• Export documentation management: including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading (BOL), Certificates of Origin, and Electronic Export Information (EEI) filings via the Automated Export System (AES).
Proficiency in Magaya system and customer service skill.
• Effective communication.
• Proactivity and a results-oriented approach.
• Organization and time management.
• Teamwork.
• 2–3 years in export coordination.


FUNCIONES DEL PUESTO

•1) Arrange bookings and manage international shipments via ocean, air, or land, ensuring adherence to schedules and customer requirements.
•2) Prepare and review export documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading (BOL), Certificates of Origin, and Electronic Export Information (EEI) filings via the Automated Export System (AES).
•3) Ensure compliance with United States export regulations and any other markets your work with.
•4) Liaise with ocean carriers, airlines, customs brokers, and trucking companies to book and secure shipments according to customer requirements.
•5) Provide shipment status updates, resolve export-related issues, and maintain strong communication with clients.
•6) Identify potential issues such as delays, customs holds, or compliance risks, and proactively address them to minimize impact.
•7) Verify freight invoices, ensure accurate cost allocations, and assist in dispute resolution when necessary.
•8) Work closely with internal teams such as sales, pricing, and warehouse operations to ensure seamless logistics processes.
•9) Identify inefficiencies in the export process and suggest improvements to enhance workflow and customer satisfaction.
•10) Perform additional duties as required by the position.
